A group of nine staff arrived bright and early with a belly full of enthusiasm and an appetite for success! The baking skills on show were, shall we say, varied among the adults... Some were seasoned pros while others were perhaps a little less assured around a baking tray. The sights and smells in the school canteen were an absolute joy and when the volunteers were matched with excited students, they all measured, mixed, mastered and munched their way to biscuit glory.

Time Warner @ John Donne Primary

The teachers at John Donne Primary have been struggling to inspire creativity with their pupils due to the run-down surroundings. All this was about to change! The Time Warner team, no strangers to creativity, were on the case. They had a plan. In just one day they would transform a concrete patch of land into an adventure playground filled with dinosaurs, space ships and sea serpents. Let your imagination run wild.... Things are about to get creative!

Allen Overy @ Christ Church Primary

As news travelled fast across the land, a group of inspired good samaritans heard the desperate (and poetic) cry for help.The team at Allen & Overy set off on a quest (bacon sarnies in hand), navigating Spitalfields, dodging the hipsters and following the North Star to find their challenge along the brickiest of lanes. The scene upon arrival was, most certainly, not set. Step forth our design crew, sent to save the Christmas nativity.

Deutsche Bank @ Alfred Salter Primary

The team at Deutsche Bank were on a mission in Rotherhithe at Alfred Salter Primary. On a fantastic late-summer afternoon, the group set about transforming the grounds of the school to allow pupils to access nature. The 13 volunteers set about regenerating the nature garden deciding that if the children can’t get out of the city to experience the natural world then Deutsche Bank will bring the natural world to them!

Telstra @ Ethelred Estate

When the call went out (probably via excellent and reliable digital communication channels), their staff jumped into action. It may not be summer as they have it in Telstra’s native Australia but on a hot July day this group of rejuvenators stepped forth into the empty space at the centre of the Ethelred Estate. There was an optimistic breeze in the air. A somewhat boisterous breeze. Time to restore this land to it’s former glory
